24 HRS EMERGENCY RESPONSE NOTIFICATION PROCEDURES

In the event of an emergency involving a Vestland Marine operated or controlled vessel, immediate notification is to be given to the following exclusive worldwide 24 hour emergency response telephone number:

Notification should include, as a minimum, the following information:

1. Name of person/company calling

2. Contact telephone and Telefax number

3. Name of vessel involved

4. Location of Emergency

5. Brief description of the Emergency

NOTE:

An Emergency is generally described as an Occurrence which involves serious personnel injury, release of product, substantial damage to third party property or damage to a vessel which is likely to impede operations or continuation of the voyage.

Emergency calls to the above listed number will be answered outside office hours by the Superintendent on watch.

Within 5 minutes of notification, the notifying party will receive a call from the duty Alarm Coordinator of Vestland Marine who will activate a response in accordance with Vestland Marine Emergency/Contingency Procedures.
